Luxembourg is a small landlocked country in western Europe. It is bordered by Belgium to the west and north, Germany to the east, and France to the south. Its capital, Luxembourg City, is one of the four official capitals of the European Union (together with Brussels, Frankfurt, and Strasbourg) and the seat of several institutions and agencies of the EU. Luxembourg’s stable and high-income market economy features moderate growth, low inflation, and a high level of innovation.
Between 1850 and 1900, the Grand Duchy exported roses on a large scale, creating worldwide fame for the country as a producer of quality roses. In 1900, about six million rose bushes were exported. Up to the end of the Second World War, Luxembourg-Limpertsberg and the Alzette valley were important production centres. Not far from the centre, accessible via several transport modes, a Home for elderly and senior people to be renovated. Additional care services are offered to keep the population in a safe and secure environment. Thanks to the proximity of the city, many activities and events can be organised in the Home. This project is an illustration of our concept “We care”, which ensure our senior the best living conditions.
